The Worlds of Dani Danger

The Neither
The Neither is the first destination for every soul after death. Vast, unfinished, and draped in gray mist, it serves as the arrival point where souls are processed before being routed to eternity. Built as part of the Framework, its endless steel structures and half-completed architecture reveal a system that was never fully finished. Here, frightened souls must make the most important decision of their existence while still struggling to understand that life has ended.
The Eternal Light Authority
The Eternal Light Authority (ELA) is the corporate governing body responsible for routing souls through the Framework. Dedicated to order, certainty, and efficiency, the Authority believes anxiety and uncertainty can be eliminated through structure and compliance. Every soul is evaluated, processed, and assigned according to protocol. To the ELA, stability is the highest virtue—even when compassion must be sacrificed to preserve it.

DeathCo Holdings
DeathCo Holdings is the afterlife’s second destination, operating under the leadership of its charismatic CEO, the Devil. Where the Eternal Light Authority values order, DeathCo embraces ambition, indulgence, temptation, and excess. Beneath its humor, spectacle, and corporate absurdity lies a place that understands one undeniable truth: desire is one of the most powerful forces in existence. DeathCo may appear chaotic, but it is every bit as organized as the Authority it loves to mock.
Eden
Hidden beyond the Framework lies Eden, a place few souls ever discover. Officially, it does not exist. In reality, it has become a sanctuary for anomalies—souls who should not exist according to the system’s rules. Unlike the cold efficiency of the Framework, Eden feels unmistakably alive. It is a place of warmth, memory, community, and quiet hope, where the mysterious force known as the Blue can be found pulsing beneath the surface of those who were never meant to survive the system.
